About The Internship
If you have a passion for EVs and adjacent sectors, and you’re looking to get started with a career in VC, this might be the thing for you.
Some of the things you will find yourself doing:
- Research and Analysis of the Mobility and EV Sectors
- We spend a massive amount of time researching a space before investing
- As an intern, you will spearhead research efforts into specific mobility and EV sub-sectors, developing key insights that shape our investment strategy. (e.g. researching market trends, competitive landscapes, understanding emerging technologies, etc.)
- A huge part of your role would entail meeting companies in person, speaking to them online, and building an investment thesis based on your learnings
- Due Diligence on Potential Portfolio Companies
- For current investments underway, you’ll assist with commercial diligence
- This would involve evaluating the business models, financial projections, and management teams of startups
- Supporting Existing Portfolio Companies
- We actively leverage our network and portfolio to help our companies succeed.
- As an intern, you have the opportunity to work directly with portfolio companies, providing support in areas like market research, business development, and fundraising.
- Content Creation and Communication
- We maintain a blog and a podcast (https://www.advantedge.vc/insights) where the team shares insights and discusses its latest investments.
- As an intern, you can contribute by researching topics, drafting scripts, and assisting with the production process.
